Imagine working as a Senior International Contract Manager (m/f) within our Global Legal department. As a corporate attorney, you will support the company’s EMEA legal team in providing strong service-oriented, business-minded counsel to the company’s procurement, technology, supplier relations and mergers and acquisitions departments. This role requires fulltime availability and is based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Key Tasks • Draft, amend and close client contracts in consultation with Sales, Project Management, Operations and other affected internal functions. • Negotiate with clients in consultation as outlined above. • Advise internal management on all matters relating to the client contracts within their area. • Liaise with the global legal teams to draft the local schedules and addenda to multi-national and global contracts. • Support to the Sales Department during the client bidding process. • Manage local data privacy requirements through DRAs, NDAs etc. • Provide other legal support to senior legal staff responsible for the EMEA region. • Research cases, statutes, and regulations to determine compliance and precedence. • Manage relationships and communications with internal clients, external clients, and external legal counsel and other contract and procurement personnel. • Assist with employment and other litigation. • Assist in review of corporate governance. • Review, analyze, interpret and draft agreements with respect to data protection law. Competencies & Requirements • Law/legal master degree. • 6 or more total years experience in a law firm and/or in-house law department. • Experience with large law firm commercial transactions is preferred. • Ideal candidate has a broad range of experience in business transactional matters and international experience. • Must be a self-starter with customer service oriented approach and a proven problem solver. • Ability to interact directly with the company’s senior leadership, proposing practical and creative solutions to complex business issues and providing pragmatic risk assessments. • Must have strong communication skills and international cross cultural awareness. • Ability to travel when required. • Fulltime availability.
