Job description The Account Manager OEM is commercially responsible for a number of Avio-Diepen’s larger accounts in the EMEA Market. You will be generating and executing the EMEA marketing & sales plan while establishing and executing account plans for individual customers. Your activities are aimed at obtaining sales opportunities, generating leads, while converting these leads to customer orders and contracts in alignment with the set sales targets, policies, and procedures of Avio Diepen. In doing so, you will become a major contributor to Avio-Diepen’s successful, profitable, and sustainable business. Tasks & responsibilities You know how to plan and prioritize your tasks effectively to continuously develop sales, customer relationships, and prospect relationships to a higher level, while initiating all necessary actions to realize your targets such as: • Selling Avio-Diepen’s products, services portfolio, and related sales mix (volume, pricing, margins, lead time) in the assigned geographic territory. • Conducting regional and local sales & marketing activities, while integrating personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, including product line launches, promotions, exhibitions, and sales at trade shows. • Leading contract negotiations and periodical contract reviews with customers, while coordinating contract implementation and evaluations within the internal organization. • Developing and cultivating a relevant network. • Budget sales plans and activities, and monitor results and opportunities by regularly reporting on the analysis of sales, market trends, competitor activities, and new product line opportunities in the territory. The level of interaction you have with Avio-Diepen’s stakeholders will vary from engineers and buyers to (logistic, procurement and general) managers active in Avio-Diepen’s diverse Supply Chain Management services portfolio. You will travel internationally to visit customers and Avio-Diepen offices. The Account Manager collaborates closely with Customer Service colleagues in order to realize the commercial targets as one team. Qualifications/Requirements We are looking for: • A hands-on, enthusiastic technical sales professional with strong organizational skills. • Bachelor degree or higher of technical/commercial education. • At least 5 years relevant work experience in managing complex accounts in an international B2B environment. Experience in aircraft aftermarket and in OEM Business including relevant networking is preferable. • Developed and strong personality able to cooperate with professional customers from specialist to executives in consultative selling and able to explore (potential) customer needs for logistic concepts and services. • Fluent in German and French both verbal and written. • Good English language skills, both verbal and written. • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook) (level advanced). • Knowledge and experience of CRM and analytical software. • Willingness to travel frequently.
